Learn to Teach Kids Yoga: 3 Ways to Train

If you love yoga and you love kids and teens, we’ve got an amazing training that’s perfect for you! We are excited to offer three different advanced children’s yoga teacher program options this Spring and Summer so that you can pick the one that best fits your schedule AND your style of learning.

Some of us do better when we have more time to process what we’re learning. Some may need a deadline because we procrastinate if given too much time. Some enjoy learning in person, some prefer learning online. For many of us, blended learning can offer the best of both worlds. When we have time to complete assignments at our own pace beforehand, there is more time for useful discussions when we’re together AND to practice what we have learned.

Module Based Training at Yoga Centric

We are excited to offer our 95 hour certification in three modules over Spring and Summer at Yoga Centric in Bel Air, MD. Module based training allows for you to commit to anywhere from 20-95 hours of training, offered over three weekends of live training beginning on May 22. You can take the modules at your own pace, paying as you go, or you can save $400 when you sign up for the complete 95 hour certification programs. It’s your choice!

  • May 22-23, 2021: 20 Hour Certification

  • June 5-6, 2021: 40 Hour Certification

  • September 15-19, 2021: 95 Hour Certification

Each certification includes some asynchronous virtual  hours completed at your own pace and before the training weekend. We then meet live and in person for your weekend intensives. For the 95 hour certification, you will also have the option to attend some live, virtual workshops in between your June and September weekend (recorded if you cannot attend).

Blended Summer Intensive at Love Yoga Studio

If you’re interested in completing our 95 hour certification more quickly, then our 5-week summer intensive at Love Yoga Studio in Hyattsville, MD is perfect for you. This program is a blended format of virtual (live and self-paced) and two weekend training intensives at the studio.

Some of the benefits of an intensive program include: an increase in focus and motivation and a decrease in procrastination. Plus, you will be certified to teach kids yoga before the new school year begins!

  • Kick-Off Weekend:  Saturday, July 10 & Sunday, July 11, 2021

  • Graduation Weekend: Saturday, August 14 & Sunday, August 15, 2021

The program also includes asynchronous learning, weekly live, virtual study sessions and live, virtual workshops (recorded if you cannot attend live). Along with the training hours, you will also complete a practicum, which includes mentoring sessions with a lead trainer!

There are only 6 spaces remaining, so sign up today! Not sure if this program is right for you? Schedule a call with us by replying to this email.

Prefer Self-Paced Learning?

You can complete your 95-hour advanced certification with us completely online. You will learn all of the skills as the in-person programs, AND you can go at your own pace. Learn more and sign up!

Benefits of self-paced learning include: taking control over your own learning (you can focus on the things you find interesting and challenging and spend less time on things you already know) and having unlimited access to the course materials (not only can you study whenever it fits into your schedule, but you can go back and rewatch the material as often as you want.)

You DO NOT have to be a yoga instructor to take any of our trainings. When you train with us, you will gain the skills you need to confidently lead creative and fun trauma-sensitive children’s yoga classes.
